Okay so this is going to be a pretty short blog post, I am currently writing this on my phone while I am cooking my lunch. As I mentioned a post or 2 again I am currently a very busy person trying to run this blog, studying 2 courses, trying to work overtime all while balancing the gym and my diet in there as well.
Because I am trying to balance this I am going to be putting this blog on hold for a little while BUT I am not going to say that I am too busy to do it! I hate that excuse, you are never too busy to do something, you have the same 24 hours in your day as everyone else and I guarantee there are people who use those 24 hours much more productively than you, the simple fact is its not a high enough priority for you at that moment.
While there is only so much you can do in a day the fact is that almost nobody is 100% productive and efficient, this means if something was a high enough priority then you could make time for it, the catch is.. This time has to come from somewhere, if you’re being as efficient with your time as you possibly can then that time has to come out of the time you would spend doing another task, for example if you wanted to hit the gym before work you might need to get an hour less sleep to do that.
As much as I enjoy blogging and providing (hopefully) helpful content, it is currently not the highest priority to me. Because of how busy I am, I am struggling to get everything done, this has resulted in me not getting enough sleep aswell as no longer reading which in turn has made me hit a bit of a creative wall. At the moment I am seriously struggling to think of new blog ideas, which is disastrous when you’re meant to upload two a week…
So for the time being, hopefully only a couple of weeks, I am going to stop with the blogging and give myself more time for other things as well as giving myself time to think of content for my blog.
If there is anything that can be taken away from this post, it is stop saying you are too busy to do something, truth is it’s just not a high enough priority for you at that moment for you to invest the time in it. On that note I will leave you with this:
“You define what is important to you by what you dedicate your time to. “
Thank you for reading this one, I am hoping to come back very soon once I have got over this creative block and find a better schedule to manage my time! Thanks again, I will be back soon. Ciao!
